Denise Lee Richards was born on Feb 17, 1971. She is an American actress and former fashion model; she made her appearances in various films including Starship troopers in 1997, Wild things in 1998, Drop Dead Gorgeous in 1999, and in Valentines in 2001. Denise Richards has been active since 1989.

Richards was born in Illinois to Joni, who was the owner of a coffee shop, and Irv Richards, who was a telephone engineer. She belongs to German ancestry and some extent also French-Canadian. She has a younger sister whose name is Michelle. She was raised both in Mokena and Downers Grove. When she was 15 years old, she and her family moved to Oceanside, California where I the year of 1989, she did graduate from EI Camino High School.

Richards met actor Charlie Sheen on the set of a Loaded weapon in 1991. They became engaged in 2002 while the pair got married in a Roman Catholic ceremony on June 15, 2002. They have two daughters together. In 2006, the couple divorced each other.
In 2011, she adopted a third daughter, Joni, as a single parent. Richards adopted her at birth domestically within the United States, following a two-year adoption process.
