Lucy-Jo Hudson is an English actress was born on May 4, 1983, in Leeds, United Kingdom. She attended Garforth Community College in Leeds, England, which is now known as Garforth Academy.
She is known for playing the role of Katy Harris in the long-running soap opera, Coronation Street from 2002 to 2005 and as a Rosie Trevanion in the ITV drama Wild At Heart from 2006 to 2009.

Leeds born actress Lucy Jo’s TV career took the flying start when she landed the role of Katy Harris in Coronation Street in 2002. While working with the soap opera, she became close to the Alan Halsall. The former professional dancer soon became the center of one of the most talked shows about plotlines. While working on the soap, Lucy began dating with Halsall who was aka mechanic Tyrone Dobbs.
Before doing her role in Coronation Street, she appeared in theatre including West Yorkshire Playhouse. She was a regular panelist on Loose Women in 2005.
Debuted ‘Wild at Heart’ in January 2006 and Hudson starred in it until departing during series 4 in 2009. She rejoined the cast for series 7 and the show finale’, which broadcast on Dec 30, 2012. She and actress Amanda Holden both appeared in the ITV series at Heart.
Her recurring role of Rhiannon Davis in Doctors in 2016 was the source of earning 2017 British Soap Award for the villain of the year.

She began dating with Halsall in a while her work on the soap. They kept their relationship even after the separation of a few months. Soon they became engaged. She married in 2009 to Alan Halsall, and they have a daughter named Sienna Rae Halsall. The soap stars had their fairytale wedding. Hudson’s brother Ryan is retired rugby league player. And also the former captain of Castleford Tigers. She has a younger sister, named as Amy-Lou who is a self-employed dance teacher.

Although she happily loved up with her hubby Alan, Lucy did confess that he has not got many skills on the dance floors. She made a joke “My husband, God love him; he is not even in a time when we are dancing in a wedding.” She admits that her husband is brilliant at acting and he should stick to it. Her husband is always generous to save their relationship. She is doing the same because she wrote on his birthday ‘gorgeous happy without doubt, you are my absolute world, Sienna and I love you very much.’
