Victoria Beckham Biography
Victoria Caroline Beckham was born on April 17, 1974. She is an English businesswoman, fashion designer, model, and singer. In the late 1990s, Beckham rose to fame with the all-female pop group Spice Girls and was dubbed Posh Spice by the July issue of the British music magazine Top of the Pops. Victoria Beckham has been active since 1994.
Victoria Beckham Early life
Beckham was born at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, Essex, United Kingdom, and grown in Goffs Oak, Hertfordshire. She is the eldest of the three children of Jacqueline Doreen, who is a former insurance clerk and hairdresser, and Anthony Williams Adams who did the job as an electronics engineer. He started as an electronics wholesale business which was a resource for the comfortable upbringing of Victoria, her sister, Louise, and her brother, Christian Adams. Victoria’s great-grandfather was German artist and revolutionary Carl Heinrich Pfander.
Victoria watched a musical film in 1980, after that she decided to seek a musical career. Jacqueline and Anthony enrolled her at Jason Theatre School. In 1991, Victoria joined Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom, Surrey and there she learned to dance and modeling. Then she went to St. Mary’s High School in Cheshunt, where she was shy by the wealth of her family and often begged her father not to drop her off outside the school in their Rolls Royce. She became a member of a band which was called Persuasion.

Victoria made a guest appearance on the catwalk for Maria Grachvogel on Feb 17, 2000, marking her debut as a model at London Fashion Week. She also worked as British ambassador Dolce and Gabbana and was briefly the face of Rocawear in 2003. She signed a fashion line for Rocks and Republic called VB Rocks in 2004, consisting of jeans for the high end of the market.
In Jan 2006, she walked the runway for Roberto Cavalli at Millan Fashion week. In the same year, she worked as a fashion editor when she styled her close friend, Katie Holmes, for a fashion shoot. When Victoria made her quit from the Rock and Republic, she extended her fashion ventures by launching her denim label, DVB Style. After that, she also launched a new official website, dvbstyle.com to extend her fashion work.
In June 2007, Victoria launched DVB Denim collection in New York at Saks Fifth Avenue, along with unveiling her eyewear range in the US for the first time. At the same time, she made her first emergence at London’s annual Graduate Fashion week as a judge alongside Glenda and Levanto select the winner of the River Island, worth £20,000. More than 20 perfumes introduced by her and David Beckham in the US stores. In Sep 2007 her cosmetics line V-Sculpt was launched in Tokyo.
Victoria has featured a lot of fashion magazine covers during her career, including I-D in 2004 and Win 2007. She has also graced various international editions of Harper’s Bazaar and Elle.
The eponymous label of Victoria launched in Sep 2008 but in the low presentation. By 2011, it has grown into a fixture of New York Fashion Week, and a lower-priced Victoria by Victoria Beckham label presented. Victoria gave audition in March 1994 advertisement in The Stage which required girls who were “street smart, extrovert, and ambitious to sing and dance.” In 1994, she joined the all-female group, The Spice Girls. She credited with her maiden name as Victoria Adams. The group which she joined is the best-selling female group of all time, selling over 80 million records around the world. The first single of the group was “wannabe” in 1996. It followed by further nine no one singles from their albums “spice, spice world and forever.”
Each member of the group received a nickname from the media and Beckham was given the name “posh spice.” After the release of their 3rd album “forever” which reached no 2 in the UK but was less successful than their previous two albums. The girls of the group stopped recording and started giving attention to the solo career regarding their foreseeable future.

In August 2000, Victoria released her first solo single, “out of your mind,” in collaboration with Dane Bowers and Truestppers. She also made her public solo debut at London’s Hyde Park at a concert to raise money for the Prince’s Trust charity in July 2000.
In 2002, Victoria signed a contract with Telstar Records and 19 Management. She then began recording pop-influenced album, “open your eyes” which produced the single “let your head go” but she allegedly chose not to release it after being hopeless with the consequences.
In 2007, the Spice Girls reformed and announced plans to embark upon reunion tour, and they said to earn £10 million each. She was only the member not to sing a solo song on tour instead of posing in the style of the fashion show on a makeshift catwalk. In 2012, they performed a medley of “wannabe” and “spice up your life” at the 2012 Summer Olympics closing ceremony.

Victoria began a relationship with Corey Haim in 1995, which ended on mutual terms.
In 1997 she dated a footballer, David Beckham after they met a charity football match. They announced their engagement in 1998. In July 1999 they married by the Bishop of Cork, Paul Colton, at Luttrellstown Castle, Ireland. The wedding attracted much media coverage. A total of 437 staff employed for the wedding reception. They both have four children, named Joseph, Romeo, David and a daughter Harper Seven.

It reported that in 2007, Victoria Beckham was the 52nd richest woman in Britain. And the 19th richest person in Britain with husband David.
In Sep 2001, she released her first book “learning to fly”. She published her 2nd book ‘the extra half an inch, hair, heels and everything in between” in Oct 2006.
Victoria joined the Ban Bossy campaign as a spokesperson advocating leadership roles for girls in 22014.
Victoria appointed as Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2017 New Year Honors for the services to the fashion industry.
She has also shot five documentaries.
