Jane Krakowski was born on 11th October 1968. She became famous as an American actress and singer. Her father, named Ed, is known as a chemical engineer, and her mother, named Barbara Krajkowski, is known as a college theater instructor as well as a producing artistic director for the Women’s Theatre corporation. She also blessed with an elder brother. She belongs to a Polish family.

Krakowski brought up with interest in the local theater scene which is the result of her parents’ activities. She used to take ballet classes when she was four years old, but after some time she left learning because she didn’t have a good body shape. She went to the Professional Children’s School for her elementary education in New York City and Rutgers University, New Brunswick for her higher studies.

Between the years 1997 to 2002, she performed her acting playing her role as office assistant Elaine Vassal on Ally McBeal; her role made her earn a Golden Globe Award nomination for being the Best Supporting Actress in the year 1999.


In the year 2006, she directed in the NBC sitcom titled as 30 Rock, where she portrayed her character as Jenna Maroney, as a major member of the fictional late night sketch show titled as TGS with Tracy Jordan. In the years 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2013, Krakowski was selected in the nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for being an Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her character in 30 Rock.
