Benedict Cumberbatch was born on 19th July 1976 AD in Hammersmith, London, United Kingdom. His father’s name was Timothy Carlton, and his mother’s name was Wanda Ventham. Most of his childhood was spent in boarding institutions. Benedict Cumberbatch studied in Brambletye School located in West Sussex and later in Harrow School. In Harrow School, he studied Arts and was a member of the Rattigan Society. At the age of 12, he made his first acting debut. He starred in the famous play “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and portrayed the character of “Titania.” Along with his acting, he continued his training in the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.
