Benedict Cumberbatch was born on 19th July 1976 AD in Hammersmith, London, United Kingdom. His father’s name was Timothy Carlton, and his mother’s name was Wanda Ventham. Most of his childhood was spent in boarding institutions. Benedict Cumberbatch studied in Brambletye School located in West Sussex and later in Harrow School. In Harrow School, he studied Arts and was a member of the Rattigan Society. At the age of 12, he made his first acting debut.
