Aston Merrygold is a well-known and popular British songwriter, singer, dancer and television personality. He is most famous for his band called British boyband JLS, where he made it until the last stage and were the runner-ups to Alexander Burke in X-Factor which was the fifth series. Aston Merrygold had a successful band he with his band members worked for several years and due to some reasons split up after seven years in the year 2013 which was 22nd December. In the year 2008, the band named JLS went for the auditions for the fifth series named as The X-factor and where they were close to winning the trophy but eventually end up being runner-up, finishing second to Alexander Burke.
Afterward, JLS band signed a contract with record label Epic Records. JLS regarded as the second most successful band came out after One Direction in X Factor. After taking part in the competition and becoming the second runner-up. JLS released four albums named (JLS, Jukebox, Outta This World, and Evolution) these were of five numbers along with four top 10 single. The copies of these albums sold for about 10 million records throughout the world which made the album successful. The band JLS also made their film which broke the records of previous box office the film named as “JLS: eyes wide open.” Eventually, after remaining for several years, JLS separated on 24th April 2013. When they had their last tour for arena tour named as “Goodbye The Greatest Hits Tour”. JLS performed for the last time on 22nd December 2013.

Aston Merrygold after working for several years came up with his first solo album named “Showstopper” which released in mid-2016. On 24th July 2015 the lead single of the album named ‘Get Stupid’ released.
