Alan Halsall Biography

Alan David Halsall is an English actor who was born on August 11, 1982, in Greater Manchester, England. He is known for playing Tyrone Dobbs in Coronation Street, a role which he has played since 1998.

Alan Halsall got his education from Walkden High School. He did law at Newcastle University.  Alan Halsall lives in Swinton. He married to Lucy-Jo Hudson in 2009, and Sienna Rae Halsall is her daughter. He has been active since 1989.

Halsall has been in Coronation Street since Nov 1998, but had previously appeared in a variety of television shows including Heartbeat, Hetty Wainthropp Investigates and Queer As Folk (1999). He also took part in CITV four-part series “Matt’s Million.” Halsall achieved National television Award in 2013.

Halsall did his marriage with Lucy Jo Hudson who is former Coronation Street and Wild at Heart actress. They met each other on set and began dating. Alan and Lucy married on June 13, 2009, in Cheshire. They expected their first child on Feb 18, 2013. She delivered her daughter, nine days after her due date, named Sienna Rae. In 2016, the couple announced that they would split in March and got back together after several weeks apart. Alan Halsall won wife Lucy-Jo Hudson back with surprise Paris trip after marriage lost its spark.

Alan Halsall and Lucy-Jo Hudson have decided to marry another go, and according to reports, they are thankful to Paris trip. After finalizing their painful breakup, the Coronation Street lovebirds were spotted indulging in a PDA session at a charity football match with insiders revealing Alan had pulled out all the stops to win his wife back.

Alan also reappeared to make the reunion when he sent a gushing birthday message to his wife on her 33rd birthday and stated that how much he was looking forward to having a romantic break. The report revealed that Jucy also gave a positive response. Halsall wrote in the message “Happy birthday to my beautiful wife Lucy-Jo Hudson who is 33 today love you so much darling and can not wait for Paris”.

Halsall started his professional life following the footsteps of his grandfather as a qualified lawyer, but a hankering for something more excited led him to join his family’s toy company in 1979. With his planned direction and his brother’ skill as a trader, they built up the business, developed teams formulated growth plans and more importantly achieved them. As a result of which Halsall grew to become the UK’s largest privately owned toy company whose offices located in the UK and the Far East and a staff a 120 before it sold in 2006.

He always thrived on being busy, so he was prepared to accept the next challenge, and on hearing Silver cross, he had gone into receivership, acquired the company three days later. Being chairman he had created a team of intelligent people who helped him grow Silver Cross into the multi-million-pound success story it today, introducing the iconic British band to 45 countries around the world.

Honesty and dignity are in the DNA of company which provided the foundations for genuine respect that shown to customers, suppliers and staff alike. Halsall is a great believer in making decisions, and he loves his staff to use their strategies. He is always hs an interest to explore the world.
